How long does the application process take?
Applications are processed on a 30 day cycle. This timeline can vary based on the volume of applications and the completeness of your submission.
What documents are required for the application?
Additional documents may be required depending on your specific situation. Required documents include:
- Valid Work Permit
- Town of Edson Buisness Licence
- Proof of Residency (Tennant Agreement, Utility Bill etc)
- Job Offer Letter
- Documents to support Job Advertising requirements met

Can I apply if I am already living in Canada?
Yes, the Town of Edson’s Rural Renewal Stream program is currently only open to those already residing in Canada, provided you meet the eligibility criteria including residing in Edson for a minimum of 6 months prior to application.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, the employer is responsible to pay the $500 application fee ($250 application fee for non-profit) within 48 hours of a submitted application. This application fee is non-refundable regardless of endorsement letter outcome.
