Inquiries<\/strong> related to the Rural Renewal Stream will be responded to within 30 days<\/strong>. Processing times<\/strong> for endorsement letter applications are approximately 60 days<\/strong> from the date of payment.<\/p>\n

Ineligible Occupations and Job Offers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Certain occupations and job offers are not eligible for the Rural Renewal Stream. These are defined by the Government of Alberta. Employers must ensure compliance with these restrictions.<\/p>\n

Employers will be asked to provide the National Occupation Classification upon application. Use IRCC\u2019s Find your NOC tool<\/a> to find the NOC 2021 version of your occupation.<\/p>\n

Eligibility for Participating in the Rural Renewal Stream<\/strong><\/p>\n

To qualify for the Rural Renewal Stream, employers must meet specific eligibility criteria. Please review the details below.<\/p>\n

Application Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n

Employers are responsible to pay the $500 application fee ($250 application fee for non-profit). <\/span>This application fee is non-refundable regardless of endorsement letter outcome<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
